#1 How We Think
Health begins in our minds. Our perceptions of our personal health, and health in general, affect the way we act. Thinking positively about our approach to how we feel can drastically affect the outcome.
#2 How We Digest
Digestion is the process by which our food is broken down into useable structures. It begins in our mouths and continues in our stomachs. There are several things we can do to get the most out of our digestion, such as taking the time to properly chew our food.
#3 How We Absorb
Absorption is a vital part of the digestion process. When we don’t absorb our nutrients properly, we can face a whole host of issues such as IBS, fibromyalgia, ulcers, chronic fatigue and many more.
#4 How We Use
For proper use of nutrients to occur, our blood needs to be alkaline. Eating too much “food-less food” causes our blood to become too acidic compromising our absorption and use of nutrients.
#5 How We Eliminate
Elimination of waste happens through the bowels, kidneys, lungs and skin. For these organs to be working optimally, the body must be alkaline, clean and full of vitality. When we can’t eliminate properly, the toxins end up recirculating in our bodies causing many issues.
6 How We Move
Health is not complete without movement. Exercise is essential for cardiovascular health, strength, mobility, flexibility and lymphatic function. Make sure you’re moving every day!
